Waitlist + Requests for 1:1 appointments
Please take the time to read any applicable notes before filling out the request form below.
This waitlist is for 1:1s only, not for group classes.
If you would like to join a newcomer-friendly group class in the future, please subscribe to our newsletter to get first invitation to enroll for our next semester (you can do that on our homepage), and follow us on social media to be notified when public registration opens. This waitlist is specifically for private appointments only, not for group classes.
-
Please note that our waitlist for 1:1 appointments is quite long. If you do not have a referral from a doctor, physiotherapist, or other allied health professional and if you do not require pre/postnatal specialization, please be aware that you will likely be on the waitlist for 1:1 sessions for many months. If you do not have pressing need for highly personalized training and if you're comfortable sharing your workout with up to three other people, we encourage you to please consider joining a semi-private group class during our upcoming semester instead.
-
Mykaela is no longer teaching private clients or duets, so all private clients will be applying to work with Nadea specifically.
-
We are not taking waitlist applications from people who are looking for very casual or irregular appointments. We encourage you to start your Pilates journey with us when you have the time and capacity for dedicated, consistent training.
If you have questions, you are welcome to get in touch via email or text or set up a free 15-minute consultation (online, phone, or in person).
Studio culture + body neutrality Our studio is a body-neutral studio, and that means that we believe ALL BODIES ARE GOOD BODIES. Your instructors are here to help you feel stronger, more flexible, more mobile, more capable, and more connected to your body, and we stay away from intentionally pursuing aesthetic or appearance-based goals such as weight loss or "tightening" or “toning”. Fat bodies, disabled bodies, older bodies -- ALL bodies -- are welcomed and supported in our space without judgement. We strive to maintain a safe, nurturing space for everyone in the studio. In the interest of full transparency: Applications that specifically list one's goals as being things like "tightening" or "toning" or "getting a hot Pilates body" will go to the bottom of our waitlist priority pile, as they are not in alignment with our studio values or focus, and we are not likely to be a good fit for one another.
Studio teaching hours for 1:1s Currently, Nadea is the only instructor teaching 1:1 clients while Mykaela focusses on her group classes. Nadea's (1:1:) session teaching hours: - Wednesdays - 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 - Thursdays - 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. - Fridays - 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We will not have availability outside of these hours.
"How long will I have to wait?" Depending on the urgency of your circumstances, you will likely be on the waitlist for a number of months. Our 1:1 waitlist has about 13 people on it as of early September. Currently Nadea's schedule is fully booked with committed weekly clients, and new openings are very rare. She also does not anticipate adding new teaching hours in the near future. At this time, anyone joining the waitlist now should anticipate waiting about 4-6 months for any new openings. We prioritize clients who are dealing with health conditions, surgical recovery, chronic or acute pain, or complex conditions as well as pre/postnatal clients, so you can let us know if you urgently need specific timeslots, and we can do our best to squeeze you in, even if we don't have a recurring spot available right away. We prioritize clients who are prepared to come consistently and regularly. Evening and lunch time appointments are our most retained and also heavily-requested times, and therefore they are our least available. If we send a waitlist booking invitation and we don't receive a response within 2 days, we remove the application from the queue.
